Experis is hiring a Sr .Net developer with strong Web API expertise for their Chicago client!

Mortgage and Credit Risk Analytics team is adding a software developer to support our drive for technological and analytical innovation within Financial Risk Management. The group leverages third-party and internally-developed models to quantify and manage credit and market risk in line with Schwabs risk appetite and tolerance. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Managing Director, Mortgage and Credit Risk Analytics.

The individual will:

Lead the development of a web API for our First Mortgage and HELOC models.
Modernize our reporting workflow to produce timely, accurate and consistent metrics for senior management.
Apply quantitative analysis to drive new model development initiatives as well as provide enhancements and support of existing models.

BA/BS degree in Computer Science OR related practical experience.
Master's or more advanced degree in one of the following fields is preferred: finance, economics, financial engineering, applied and computational mathematics, computer science and other disciplines in physical sciences or engineering.
Strong knowledge of C++, CMAKE, Visual Studio and related technologies
Proficiency in creating and consuming .NET C# RESTful services.
Experience designing, building and optimizing relational databases.
Experience building quantitative models in R or Python.
Solid communication and presentation skills with ability to translate mathematical and statistical concepts into easily understood language.
Knowledge of authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth 2, SAML, JWT).
Knowledge of agile, CI/CD technologies such as Atlassians BitBucket, Bamboo, JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
A background in statistics, quantitative analysis and risk modeling is a plus.
Knowledge of Java applications using Spring Boot and ReactJS is a plus.
Familiarity with Big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc is a plus. Additional Job Details: C# .NET C++ Web Services
