Accounting-Finance Manager
Experis has partnered with a leader in the Telecommunications sector to help grow their team, hiring for Accounting-Finance Manager I in Little Rock, AR 72202
This is a 12 months initial contract assignment with possibility of extension
The Manager will be responsible for managing all Finance support activities for Hardware Software agreements for EIT and Engineering. Support activities include providing all monthly forecasts, analytics on agreements, monthly accruals, and balance sheet risk review.
The Manager will leverage a mix of both analytical and interpersonal skills by communicating their analysis within our team and to our internal partners in Technology Operations, Financial Planning, and Accounting via standard reporting, written and verbal communication.
The role favors analytical individuals who thrive on attention to detail, analyzing data, interfacing with the Business as well as Procurement to help drive both accuracy of financials and forecast, and identify opportunities for savings in Procurement..
Responsibilities
Consolidate monthly Engineering and IT Operating Expense Forecasts for HW SW
Identify risks and opportunities to the current plan and recommend actions to improve results
Prepare monthly accruals for HW SW contracts
Conduct monthly balance sheet review for risk
Facilitate standing meetings with Key Stakeholders (Procurement, FPA Account Managers, Business Owners)
Provide summary reporting and analytics to FPA leadership identifying variances to FC and actuals, key levers, future contracts requiring negotiations, overlapping contracts
Qualifications
Required experience and educational background will include the following:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
5+ years of experience in Analysis and Planning
2+ years with a proven track record of leading successful teams
Advanced computer skills (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
SAP experience a plus
Knowledge and experience with budgeting, financial analysis and capital projects
Previous experience in telecom or wireless engineering financial operations helpful
Experienced in extracting, consolidating and analyzing large sets of data
Proven ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to both financial and non-financial managers
