Operational Excellence Practitioner/ Lean Specialist
Location: Coppell, TX (open to remote but must be local)
Contract Length: 11 months (with opportunity for extension)
Job Duties :
The Operational Excellence (OE) Practitioner is responsible for the coaching of Process Execution Team (PET), line teams and Business Execution Teams (BET) in the practical application for lean and six sigma tools and techniques such that the lines have the capability to deliver the line performance required to meet the results, vision and ultimately Operational Excellence. The OE Practitioner is also responsible for deployment of the PET & BET continuous improvement (CI) Strategy working in collaboration with all PET & BET continuous improvement resources.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Policy Deployment and performance metrics, including the deployment of the PET & BET CI Strategy
Coaches & facilitates the practical application of tools to deliver and sustain PET & BET Results Vision (control and improvement metrics).
Develops continuous improvement capability within the PET & BET in line with the defined capability strategy.
Responsible for improving the Production System
Attends networks to ensure best practice knowledge such that PET & BET processes are standardized and efficient
Proactively identifies Improvements to Quality Management Systems working in partnership with the Quality Facilitator and ensures processes and activities do not compromise Safety, Heath & Environment/Good Manufacturing Practice/Information Systems
Inputs into regulatory inspections on areas of specialist knowledge as required
Works collaboratively with Operational Excellence practitioners at other manufacturing sites, the supply chain services support group (centralized function), and Global Operations to ensure common approach to linking overall Operational Excellence support for the business.
Link to HR Lead to ensure that tools and techniques utilized in Operational Excellence are aligned with the HR tools provided by HR process owners.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in related technical/business discipline
Demonstrated industry related experience as a practitioner & coach in Lean/Six Sigma projects and programs
Experience in process & project management and improvement Desirable
Six Sigma Black Belt training and/or certification from an accredited external Quality program.
Expertise in the application of analytical problem solving methodology
Understanding of Good Automated Manufacturing Practice, current Good Manufacturing Practice and regulations as defined by local regulatory bodies External Job Title Lean
