Hiring Financial Analyst (bank loan) for contract assignment in Whippany, NJ!!! Only W2 submissions are allowed.

This position will be part of a global team tasked with securities trade processing and cash movements for a multi-billion dollar portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the closing and administration syndicated bank loans and private placements as well as trade operations in a fast-paced environment. This seasoned and cross-functional team tackles a multitude of tasks across a broad spectrum of products and transactions. The group works as a team moving from task to task which includes settling private and public trades interfacing with the trading desk as well as our Portfolio management to insure the larger investment group can be nimble in the market place.
Responsibilities include:* Primary responsibilities are the administration of mezzanine and syndicated bank loans various facility types (term loans, delay draws, revolvers, letter of credit); processing of unfunded commitments: recording & calculation of trade fees; processing of amendments, repricing and cashless rolls; and resolve reconciliation breaks between accounting and investment platforms.* Own the deal closing, liaise and coordinate pre-closing requirements with internal and external clients.* Assist with ad-hoc inquiries from borrowers and clients pertaining to the closing process and ongoing maintenance.* Other responsibilities include trade support for public and private securities: ensuring accurate trade details for various public security types, both US and International, and the timely settlement of these trades, including fails resolution; providing settlement instructions and notification information of the deal to outside counsel and review draft legal documents for Client and client's 3rd parties; and confirming private placement trades on investment platform* Defining processing issues encountered, documenting findings and proposing permanent solutions to enhance efficiency and facilitate change;* Communication with counterparties, analysts, traders and portfolio management as well as back office stakeholders* Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Required Experience:* At least 2 years of experience in bank loan closings, private placements support, and/or settlements* Prior experience maintaining bank loans and revolving credit facilities and knowledge of the loan product / Syndicated Loan business, including an understanding of a credit agreement, loan funding mechanics, deal structure, funds flows, administrative agent services etc* Functional experience with BlackRocks Aladdin, MarkIt/ClearPar, WSO, and Bloombergs platforms highly desired* Strong communication skills and problem solving skills are required.* Proficient user of Microsoft Office (including Excel - Advanced level)
