On-Site Administrator (Printer Technician) - Salt Lake City UT
Title: On-Site Administrator
Location: 84184 Salt Lake City, UT
Primary Responsibilities
Provide support for print devices; provide initial troubleshooting: log and track activity
Relocate, install, remove, and re-configure devices
Perform preventative maintenance, repair equipment by replacing common failure parts
Provide technical support; use web-based software to manage printer fleet
Obtain usage and configuration data, provide reports
Assist with resolving IP and serial # discrepancies; update firmware
Monitor Web Jet Admin for specified Alerts, provide Web Jet Admin reports
Manage updates to WJA and Digital Sending Software; administer OSA user logins
Manage spare unit pool; coordinate with shipping and receiving of devices
Manage toner, staples, spare parts stock; replace toner and device supplies as needed
Order and stock required supplies at device locations; report status
Submit service request forms and provide data fleet changes and locations
Place, track, and manage service calls and incident tickets
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Use software (Word, Excel) to track usage/fleet activities at customer locations
Assist end user in the use of print devices
Minimum Requirements
High School Degree and 4 to 5 years of experience
Experience with and knowledge of printer operations, configuration, print drivers, and maintenance
Experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and customer service
Understanding of networking and experience with network connectivity
Experience with firmware upgrades and understanding of operating systems
Ability to perform preventative maintenance on devices
Experience with Web Jet Admin, HP Digital Sending Software (DSS) or similar tools is desired
Experience with and knowledge of ticketing system
Experience with tracking and reporting fleet/device data; asset and supplies management
Strong communication skills, customer service skills, and ability to work with end users
Capable of working with minimum amount of direct supervision
Capable of problem solving in a customer environment
Strong skills in software applications and web based tools
A+ Certification desired
