An immediate opportunity exists for a candidate with solid experience leading successful infrastructure projects and teams specializing in incident management and solutions delivery, to join our team. Due to an unprecedented period of growth, we have a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity in the RALEIGH, NC area for a TECHNICAL ENGAGEMENT PROJECT MANAGER.
The selected resource will work with internal teams and resources to complete the following:
Provide hands-on project management to lead a team responsible for ensuring operational availability for web server environments within a 24x7 operation
Serve as the single point of contact for external customer/internal stakeholders and be responsible for managing day-to-day customer escalations, facilitating speedy issue resolution through correct resource allocation, and managing stakeholder communication during the resolution process.
Assess the needs of a given support requirement and prioritize to ensure cases are handled at the correct resource level and with appropriate focus
Capture escalations in a tracking log making sure they are completely documented and successfully resolved
Perform analysis on our escalation data, identify trends, and present observations and recommendations to senior leadership
BS/BA degree in Information Technology; Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
Minimum 3+ years experience leading infrastructure within a data center environment. Hands-on experience working with external customers and vendor/partners desired
2+ years experience specializing in project delivery and/or engagement management REQUIRED
Proven experience developing a positive working relationship with peers and management and working with diverse business and technical user groups
Experience working within large-scale data center environments required.
ITIL or Six Sigma certification desired but not required
