QA Analyst II-US
Specific Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for driving the Software Quality Engineering efforts across the unit, module, system, and user acceptance testing
Provide expert oversight, mentoring team members, and leading quality initiatives in large development efforts. Experienced in effectively delegating work
Lead QA teams (onshore and offshore) with people management responsibilities
Work with multiple teams, define QA tasks with priorities, and help team members to fulfill them.
Represent QA teams and participate in planning and execution using agile methodologies such as SCRUM and serve as a key driver to improve product quality.
Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision.
Participate in all sprint activities including, daily scrums, grooming/sizing, planning, requirements gathering, story writing, and solution design session
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with 6-8 years' experience in quality engineering
Should be able to gather the requirements, ask right questions and if needed dive into prod usage (front end /backend) to get answers.
Should be able to pull together a workload model based on infrastructure sizing/Prod Usage.
Should be able to create Performance scripts and run tests using tools like Neoload/LoadRunner/Jmeter.
Should have knowledge of the monitoring of systems using system tools or APM tool like Dynatrace, New relic etc
Should be able to set up DB traces and analyze them.
Should be able to profile code using tools like JProfiler, Yourkit etc.
Should be able to analyze Thread dump and identify deadlocks etc.& analyze heap dumps (AIX, JAVA, CLR).
Should be able to dive into App server logs and Web server logs to identify errors and trace.
Should be able to analyze GC logs and have good understanding of GC algorithms.
Should have good knowledge on SQL, Oracle and must have hands on experience querying database.
Should be able to lead a team of resources and work with vendor partners.
Should be able to manage Performance environment using Ansible, Rundeck, Chef etc and take care of deployments.
Desired skills:
Knowledge on how to spin up the environment using Kubernetes, Azure is a plus
Knowledge on how to refresh the data, roll back to previous back up is good to have..
Experience in Production Performance Testing is plus.
Analyze the production data of business growth using tools like Omniture and model it with capacity of systems.
Experience in technologies like Salesforce, Mainframe, SAP is plus.
