Editor The editor will ensure consistency within our Client's standards and continuity of style through review and editing of new and existing technical content and learning materials to deliver simple, polished and relevant content. Seeking a candidate with excellent writing and verbal communication skills, experience writing business documentation, and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced development environment. Responsibilities:
Reviewing technical materials for Clear, Concise, Consistent, and Complete Content.
Giving feedback and advice to technical writers, providing coaching as needed.
Ensuring all written content meets Client's style, standards and security protocols.
Conducting quality assurance assessments on content and adhering to goals for content and workflow
5+ years of relevant technical editing experience in applicable field.
Proven experience as a technical writer with in-depth knowledge of content analysis, modeling, design, and structured writing
Mastery of the Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications
Experience with Madcap Flare software and
12+ month contract/project job onsite in Springfield MO. WOrk with gas chromatography and mass spectrometry in lab environment. GC-MS instrumentation. Must be eligible to work in US without sponsorship.
Chemist with 3+ years of industrial experience in separations with an emphasis on gas chromatography - mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Possible Exposure to Irritants/Sensitizers
Required qualifications: B.S. or higher in chemistry or related field. 3+ years' experience with GC-MS instrumentation
Preferred qualifications: M.S. or PhD or higher in chemistry or related field. Experience with MassHunter software, including Quantitative Analysis. Experience with headspace sample
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
*Routine testing for Finished Product, In-process and Incoming raw material testing with minimal supervision (Testing might include sampling and handling samples up to 20 lbs.)
*Collaborate in a fast-paced team environment, working within and across different groups
*Maintain accurate documentation of work product
*Participate in laboratory investigations method development activities for new products and procedures
*Follow standard operating procedures and keep current on all mandatory training
*Other duties as assigned Education: GED or higher, however, Bachelor degree within science discipline is preferred. Would also prefer lab
