This is a contract position in which you will need to be flexible on which shift you will be assigned (rotating shifts). Expect 10-15 hours/week OT. 1st shift - 6:30a-2:30p, 2nd shift - 3:00p-11p
To maintain production and respond to production problems with equipment to repair
To assure equipment operates to function as designed for both production rate and quality of product
Assist production cell modifications for model and product changes
Summary of what you'd be doing:
Attend daily shift meetings
Respond to daily equipment trouble failures and assist in troubleshooting, evaluations and trouble reporting on stamp press systems, ASH units, conveyors, booths, ovens, boilers, robots, paint equipment
Perform equipment downtime and trouble history and maintenance activity including preventative maintenance, overhaul and replacement
Complete all Documentation related to work.
The OSP Engineer III is responsible for fiber network design and construction of projects for our fiber network. The type of outside plant (OSP) projects you will work consist of new fiber routes and modification of existing fiber routes that connect network elements to the core backbone network. A large volume of fiber projects will be to our macro sites, small cells and customer building locations.Review proposals for underground and above ground aerial fiber construction.Utilize knowledge of fiber cable sizing, cable counts, cable record management, fiber characteristics, transmission protocols, route diversity, route protection plus front-haul and back-haul concepts.Bid fiber projects to vendors, award projects, obtain purchase orders, initiate project designs, manage budgets and secure necessary material.Provide engineering guidance to vendors, monitor progress and insure timely completion of projects.Approve close out packages and evaluate as-built drawings for quality control.
