POSITION: Construction Project ManagerLOCATION: Pittsburgh, PennsylvaniaTYPE: Contract to Hire
QUALIFICATIONS: *Qualified candidates shall have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in construction management and shall have experience managing multiple, simultaneous contracts. *At a minimum, the PM must be familiar with the following trades: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, architectural, structural, fire protection. *The PM shall also be familiar with dealing with asbestos and other hazardous materials commonly found in commercial office space. *The PM must have experience developing, reviewing and analyzing critical path method schedules (CPM) and shall be trained in the use of Project Scheduling software. *The PM shall have experience preparing project progress reports, cost estimates, reviewing design submissions and performing construction inspections.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Integrates environmental, health and safety (EHS) management systems with engineering and program documentation, and schedules to maintain regulatory compliance and safe operating conditions. Ensures compliance with Federal and State regulations, corporate mandated policies, and procedures in Environmental, Health, and Safety. Coordinates EHS related activities with the operations manager. Tracks and regularly reports the status of regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives to the operations manager. Will be the primary contact for plant-related EHS issues. Assists plant leadership and staff in understanding EHS regulations and standards, including guidance on handling EHS compliance, inspections, and citations. Advises product and process engineers and leads to incorporate environmental health and safety principles and concepts to prevent workplace, operational hazards and environmental impacts.
Summary: Provides Process Engineering support within Operations. This includes executing engineering projects for increasing production and providing long range technical planning and strategies for the business.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for project execution including process improvements utilizing existing equipment and/or selection, justification, CAR processing, purchasing, and installation of new equipment. Support efforts including in person training and documentation.Determine design and recommending changes to implementing manufacturing systems that will increase productivity, for machine, human interaction, method/process, raw material & environmental variability. Design to incorporate Lean principles to improve reliability, ease of use & maintenance, minimize changeover times, and to minimize production losses.Provide cross functional project management across key areas of manufacturing.
