Electro Optics Engineer
Capture and analyze experimental data, document conclusions and provide clear, concise reports.
Perform statistical analysis of results to support seeker performance and development trades.
Become familiar with current performance modelling tools and upgrade to modern platforms.
Set-up, modify, and run multiple axis laser systems for calibrating seeker optical systems.
Run laser process experiments to support seeker development trades and document results.
Bachelor's Degree in Optical Engineering or related discipline, such as ME or EE.
Have experience in experimental design, techniques and execution in a laboratory environment; academic experience is acceptable.
The ideal candidate will possess a balance between fundamentals and theory, with demonstrated hands-on skill integrating and testing EO devices in a laboratory environment.
Must be capable of obtaining a US Secret Clearance. US Citizenship is required.
Have strong understanding of lasers, laser safety and laser laboratory procedures.
Understanding of laser parameter measurement (i.e. power, spatial and temporal beam profile, etc.)
Experience with some of the following software tools:
Zemax / Optics Studio
Familiarity with Zemax and Matlab will be considered an advantage.
