Seeking an Electrical Control Panel Designer to design panels from panel request documentation, contract drawings and specifications provided from project team -- and to assist with most aspects of panel design projects by producing panel drawing documentation for production and customer.

Job duties include:
*Reads and interprets customer diagrams and documentation and communicates with project team to understand objectives and preferences.
*Develops PLC module and electrical drawings.
*Develops panel layout and detail drawings.
*Develops BOMs and interpret vendor cut sheets to determine functionality of components.
*Develops power and heat calculations.
*Develops CNC detail and production drawings.
*Confer with engineering staff, manufacturing staff and other personnel to resolve problems.
*Provides guidance and assistance to production on all aspects of the panel design.

Job requirements include:
Previous experience designing control panels
AutoCAD experience is required and AutoCAD Electrical experience is highly desired!
Extensive familiarity with PLC equipment, Allen Bradley, Siemens is required
One or more years of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)One or more years of Documentation Software: Adobe Pro
Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information
Ability to collect and research data
Ability to design work flows and procedures.
Ability to generates creative solutions; Translate concepts and information into images; use feedback to modify designs; Apply design principles

Two-year college degree in electrical engineering technology or related experience and/or training desired but not required.
