Econometric Modelers - Work on quantitative financial modeling, collect and process financial data; implement financial models and numerical algorithms using several programming languages, including C#, WPF, Python, Anaconda, Matlab, Visual Studio, SQL and SQL Server Management Studio; assist with large-scale mathematical programming modeling and algorithm development; demonstrate proficiency in current commercial and academic mathematical programming and optimization modeling languages and solvers, knowledge of financial data vendors' systems, financial analysis, probability theory, numerical approximation, numerical integration, statistical distributions, and dimensionality reduction techniques; assist with projects requiring knowledge of Linear Algebra, stochastic calculus and numerical methods for solving large scale linear, nonlinear systems, Monte-Carlo simulation of multiple correlated processes, Markov Chain Monte-Carlo simulation, including Gibbs sampler and Metropolis-Hastings algorithm; develop and implement Statistical and Machine Learning algorithms.
Requirements: Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Economics, Finance, Business or Mathematics and two years' experience in job offered or two years' experience in related Economics field (or Bachelor's degree in any above fields plus five years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related Economics fields).
Special requirements: Experience with C#, WPF, Python, Anaconda, Matlab, Visual Studio, SQL and SQL Server Management Studio. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in US. EOE/AA
