An immediate opportunity exists for a candidate with experience serving as traffic manager within a creative production team, to join our team. Due to an unprecedented period of growth, we have a LONG-TERM CONTRACT/PROJECT position opportunity in the RALEIGH, NC area for a CREATIVE TRAFFIC MANAGER.

Role/Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary liaison between the design team and a large marketing team. Oversee project workflow from concept development to completion. Project manage the logistics of all projects between the project management and creative teams.

You must be able to judge whether something is doable in the requested timeframes and budgetary needs. Responsible for scheduling, producing, and delivering, on time, all the work developed by the creative department.
While this is not primarily a design role, you may be required to execute occasional, light production design tasks as needed (e.g. minor layout revisions or copy updates to existing artwork, etc. Assess, adapt, and maintain the integrated work flow process to manage the daily trafficking of design, copywriting, editing, print and fulfillment of all communication materials.
Prepare a status report of all active jobs in the shop. Manage traffic flow of incoming creative requests
Work with the in-house and freelance talent. Ensure tasks are of high-quality, to brand, and delivered on-time
Design and implement an efficient creative request process for our internal clients
Ensure that deadlines are met for day-to-day projects (both on the client and design side)
Verify technical specifications and interface with clients to reconcile any differences
Work with team leads to ensure projects meet production deadlines; sourcing talent, booking studio time, procuring needed props and equipment.
Participate in client calls and keep track of upcoming projects, needs, and opportunities
Coordinate scheduling of collateral materials to arrive before final deadlines

Requirements:

3 years of project management experience with design studio, creative department, or agency environment
BA or BFA in Marketing, Advertising, or Design or relevant experience
Project management experience in advertising, design, print, and production
Demonstrated knowledge of marketing and creative processes
Must be familiar with the principles of creative production
Candidates with experience working with Workfront highly desired
Strong project management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects being completed by multiple team members
Work cooperatively, collaboratively, and respectfully in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to make sound decisions fast
Coaching, leading and mentoring (internal staff, customers)
Good problem-solving skills; maintains confidentiality
Ability to work in a high paced, high pressure environment
