Construction Management Engineer
Manage construction projects that are handed off from Engineering to Network Assurance (+/- 90 days) from in-service actualized date.
Be the liaison between the two functional teams, single point of contact for Engineering to funnel questions to Network Assurance and for Network Assurance to funnel questions, concerns, and build issues back to Engineering.
Candidate must understand Radio Access Network (RAN), facilities, build process flow, and milestone owner objectives and deadlines.
Candidate must be able to manage construction activities related to the development of multiple, simultaneous infrastructure projects within our network from start to finish.
Manage, from start to finish, certain last mile, construction projects within existing RAN architecture, to include hardware procurement and requirements, shipping and inventory, and logistics to make sure rack mounted hardware and peripherals are organized and ready for the Network Assurance engineers to install, as well as build timelines and reports to track the success of those installs.
Demonstrate professionalism by responding to emails promptly, actively participating in multiple conference calls and meetings, ability to explain issues clearly, providing updates to all project stakeholders, maintaining records and databases and sending out reports to the like, work with frontline engineers within Engineering and Network Assurance, and tactfully raise issues and escalations to management for follow up.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Extensive knowledge and experience (3+ years) with the following tools, programs, and skills: Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Slides, etc.) SiteTraker (SalesForce) Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Build reports and tables within each of the above tools. Comfortable speaking in a group environment and to executive leadership.
Ability to navigate multiple, proprietary database programs and update fields, build reports, and perform data inquiries in those databases.
Strong interpersonal skills and communication techniques.
Strong organizational skills across all relative disciplines of project management.
Scripting abilities (i.e. Python)
Project management certification desired, but not required.
3+ years of relative experience related to the skills above.
