We are looking for a person with proven experience programming & running CNC machines, who is passionate about new technology - especially software technologies and is excited to explain the process & product to our sales & customers. Responsible for CNC machine demonstrations, time studies, test cuts and as per customer requirements in showroom.
Essential Job Functions:

Expertise operating horizontal, vertical and turning CNC machines
Proficient with advanced CAM system(s) (OpenMind, Delcam, Siemens NX, etc), G-Code, and Macro programming
Broad knowledge of cutting tools with the ability to calculate optimal speeds and feeds
Design and fabricate fixtures/work holding and select tooling for test cuts & demonstrations
Ability to define and troubleshoot manufacturing/machining processes; strong analytical/problem solving abilities
Working knowledge of part inspection devices/techniques and basic understanding of metallurgy
Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to effectively communicate verbally with varying levels of internal technical staff, external customers, and external suppliers
Travel to trade shows and in-house shows to run machine demonstrations and present our products
Travel to customers to propose machining solution, trouble shoot an existing process or present our products
Create machine, software and machining process technical presentations; present to internal staff and customers
Other duties as assigned
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
Proven experience to communicate professionally with internal and external customers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Proven organizational skills, with high attention to detail
Education and/or Experience:
BS Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred, and/or machining knowledge
5+ years related experience with progressive development
Experience in part processing, metal cutting, CNC programming, and machine setup
Bilingual in Japanese and English is a plus yet not required
Work Environment:
Showrooms and customer sites. Exposure to possible hazards may include noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery. General office environment in the Office.
Physical Demands:
Frequent: sitting at desk utilizing computers and phones, standing, walking.
Periodic: Business travel (domestic/abroad) operating power equipment, utilizing a computer, and phone.
Occasional: bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
