This role will work with other data scientists to produce reporting for data-based decision making while using of large amounts data specific to various operational business units. Reports will be used to predict anomalies, provide detail supply chain information and other miscellaneous data depending on the user group.

Organizing information, ensuring data accuracy, programming and producing reports for operational business units.
Import, clean, and maintain data and information using Excel, other data analytics systems and internal databases.
Use advanced Excel functions to process large amounts of data.
Extract data from a variety of data tables, cubes, and user input files
Process data into a usable and readable format
Document data mapping and schematic diagram
Create business operations performance tracking reports and dashboards
Deliver business insights through visualization
Participate in data analytic projects and deliver values
Balance multiple requests with delivering quality results on time
Communicate with internal decision-makers to understand specs requirements, ensure that projects are completed by deadlines and according to plan.
Assisting with special projects as needed.

Must have 6-8 years of relevant work experience involving data management or analysis
Bachelor's degree required; Majors in computer science, data analytics, statistics, or related field preferred
Advanced Access and Excel skills required
Preferred experience utilizing Apache Hadoop
Programming/data analytics experience utilizing tools such as Visual Studio, Sequel, DB.Net, Python, R Programming, Tableau, SAS or any newer software is highly desired
Experience working with large data sets, both structured and unstructured
Experience creating workflows and rule engines
Awareness of design patterns such as repository, factory, and composition
Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms is a plus
Strong work ethic working with data and an investigative mindset
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work quickly and accurately under strict deadlines
A great attitude and desire to learn
