An immediate opportunity exists for a candidate with solid experience leading multiple projects within a structured PMO environment, to join our team. Due to an unprecedented period of growth, we have a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity in the RALEIGH, NC area for a BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER.

Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will work to support the management of program risks and issues.
Enter and troubleshoot equipment orders in a complex configure-to-order environment including hardware, software and services, across multiple geographies.
Develop constructive working relationship with vendors, Global Procurement Services and all other key stakeholders to ensure the timely resolution of anomalies, discrepancies and order issues.
Learn and use all dCloud support tools (such as Smartsheet, Econometrix, iProcurement, etc.).
Manage on-boarding / off-boarding of team members.
Maintain daily procurement snapshot and provide to management as requested.
Set the direction, clarifying issues, providing decision-making assistance to project team members and helping to ensure that project deliverables are on time and meet quality checkpoints. Keep the team focused and on track to meet the project goals and objectives.
Keep the project management reporting process updated with appropriate information including Manage project reporting
Plan, write, edit and maintain technical and marketing documents including online demo scripts, training materials, release notes, data sheets, and other documentation as needed in relation to assigned demo projects.

Requirements:

Minimum BS/BA degree in MIS, IT, CIS, general business or related field is highly desired.
PMP is desired but not required.
Minimum 5 years experience in a project management role; 2+ years experience serving in a program management role working within a large PMO environment desired
Experience in project planning, budgeting, financial tracking and reporting and process improvement is required.
All candidates must be versed in PMBOK methodology including assessing scope, stakeholder management, requirements gathering and serving as liaison within functional teams.
All candidates must have experience working with business side projects and have in-depth knowledge of full life-cycle project management and constraints
Advanced user experience using MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint & Excel.

Preference will be given to candidates available to interview and work on-site in RALEIGH, NC. Telecommuting is not available for this role.
