Business Analyst / PM
We are looking for an energetic and collaborative person who is adept at implementing process improvements across several teams. This person will work with software development and operations teams to develop a standard EUS model, baseline incident metrics, establish objectives for measurable improvement and implement a dashboard to track to the objectives. The existing corporate platform is At Your Service, so we will be looking to use this to support the process. The EUS model should account for at least the following: incident reporting, incident flow to resolution, tracking, SLAs accounting for issue and system criticality.
We are looking to improve our EUS experience so the implementation should include self-serve capabilities (e.g. chat bots), a knowledge base, ability to track reported incidents and the ability for an end user to initiate an incident or provide feedback directly from an application. Acts as team leader/coordinator in support of large, complex, and multi-functional Service Assurance Systems.
Work with business customers / End users to understand requirements and develop specifications for large-sized projects.
Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the processes as needed. Oversees, coordinates, and participates in organizational, operational, and procedural analyses to determine information input, work processes, and desired output for potential and/or updated computerization for a large number of users in support of a multi departmental applications
Assists the lead developer and or developers in composing the load testing plan, directly writes scripts to implement the plan.
Assists the project management office and testers in the creation of the test plan and test scenarios whose scope includes new code or changes in existing code. Provides input to technical lead and architect on development solutions.
Communicate with the project team throughout all stages of design. Manage time effectively, and work on multiple project timelines simultaneously in a demanding deadline driven environment.
Skillset Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. 7+ years of experience in related field with at least few years of Telecom experience.
Telecommunication network experience is strongly preferred. Ability to create graphs, tables & charts in MS that convey a message for presentations a plus; ability to develop effective presentations/prototypes applicable to various audiences. Superior communication skills both written and verbal; Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to create sophisticated design solutions to complex problems. Ability to organize requests and balance priorities from several development teams with different delivery schedules. Ability to handle multiple assignments, detail oriented, resourceful, motivated and creative; with a positive attitude. Knowledge of Verizons service Assurance systems in a plus. Understanding of the Agile software development life cycle and working within it.
