Our client, a VERY innovative, family owned company has a need for their growing Engineering Team at their state of art manufacturing facility... They have a culture of Teamwork, Trustworthy, Respectful, and Fun-Positive Attitude.

Position Summary: Responsible for projects, from safety, to continuous improvement of existing equipment and process, to support and involvement with launching new equipment along with supporting maintenance and repair of equipment.

We are looking for candidates with the following:

**PLC programming exp.
**Robotic Programming exp.
**Previous plastics exp. preferred
**A positive, and open mind.
**Jack of all trades


Preferred Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
5+ years experience in maintenance, plastic injection molding experience preferred.
Electrical license or previously qualified as an electrical worker.
Vocational or college-level studies in electrical and/or hydraulics or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated understanding of electrical and/or electronic problem analysis and repair.
Demonstrated understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic installation, problem analysis and repair.
Demonstrated ability to perform simple machining/fabrication (cutting, drilling, tapping, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to perform simple Arc & MIG welding tasks.


Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:

Formulate ideas, insight and implementation of continuous improvement projects
Concentration on improvement of existing equipment
Support of production floor modifications driven from launch activities
Fabrication of assembly equipment and fixtures
Responsible for production needs on technical issues
Evaluate predictive maintenance requirements
Second layer to production support when necessary
Assist with equipment installation or relocation.
Perform building and grounds maintenance as assigned
Assist with building and grounds modifications.
Use of various equipment including but not limited to:
o Machining / Fabrication: welder, milling machine, circular saw, degreasing equipment, drill press, grinder
table saw, compressed air equipment, metal lathe, sandblaster, band saw, molding machine.
