We are seeking a Analyzer Service Technician for a client in the Houston area. This person will be traveling to perform service and maintenance on Process Analyzers. Travel will be 2/3 in the Gulf Coast and 1/3 outside. Travel outside of the United States is necessary.

Job description
- Perform startup, service and maintenance of analyzers in the US. Occasional travel to Caribbean/Latin America (maybe once per year)
o Most of the work in the gulf coast area
o About 33% of work outside the gulf coast
- When in the office, help with spare parts requests, quoting and follow up with customers
- Travel to factory help with assembly of analyzers when we have a surcharge of work. This is not expected to happen often but might be 1-2 weeks per year
- Work with other product lines (non-analyzer) to service equipment in the field at most a few weeks per year
- Perform some small repairs in our service/repair center at most a few weeks per year


- 5 years experience in the process analyzer service role
- Ability to be on the road upwards of 60% of the time
- Degree is not necessary, but some form of associates degree or significant familiarity with physical properties and/or chemistry is a must
- Must be able to handle spare parts meaning identifying; working with factories in all locations, getting quotes, etc which is a job they will do when not traveling
- Some level of independence and self-management.
- During peak times travel is as much as 60% and other times 30% - 40%; general length of their trips are 3-5 days, but can be shorter or longer
- Help set up a service maintenance program but will not be running the program or be responsible for its success from a leadership perspective
- Computer & Microsoft office proficiency
- Valid passport (or possibility of getting a passport)

Preferred requirement:
- 10 years servicing analyzer
- Spanish understanding
- Flair for sales (not full sales person but with capability to be a SME and recognize and relay opportunities to the sales team)
