Accounts Receivables Technician

(Full Benefits Package, 100% Paid Health Insurance)


Summary/Objective

Responsible for accounts receivables, processing deposits, applying payments, collections, monthly reporting, and maintaining customer data base. Provides general assistance to Accounting Manager.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

Processing and balancing of daily electronic deposits
Data entry of applying daily deposit in the accounting software
Responsible for balancing/reconciling of payments with invoices
Digitalization filing of deposits, reports, and other documentations
Responsible for updating and maintenance of accounts receivable customer information
Responsible for generating and reviewing all daily and monthly A/R reports
Responsible for collection of all outstanding A/R accounts and revolving credit balances
Responsible for monthly billing processes, such as verifying, sorting, and mailing
Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining excel spreadsheets
Prepares documentation for payment of credit balances
Responsible for running monthly reports for accounts receivables
Communicates with customers and other departments concerning questions and problems pertaining to their account status


Miscellaneous Duties

Serves as a backup to Accounts Payable and other departments as needed
Assist as needed with answering and processing of phone calls


Education / Technical Skills

Two-year degree in Accounting or two years of job-related work experience with demonstrated skills. Note: At the discretion of management, requirements for training and experience can be exchanged on a year-for-year basis.


Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to do multiple tasks simultaneously. Work with a high degree of confidentiality. Must be dependable. Having strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are vital. Must be computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and database with the ability to learn new applications as necessary.
