Responsible for performing product evaluations under minimal supervision. Performs analyses and testing required for evaluating processes and products. Compiles, analyzes, troubleshoots, interprets, and document results into the Complaint Management System.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
Performs troubleshooting of product returned for analysis to assignable cause.
Writes evaluation summaries and protocols as a result of troubleshooting analysis.
Applies advanced techniques and procedures to assigned projects.
Develops and adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet special needs.
Works under minimal supervision.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ability to handle multiple task assignments with minimal supervision.
Moderate software application skills in the area of expertise are required.
Demonstrate skills in test method development, test fixture design and development, data analysis.
Ability to write coherent reports to sufficiently capture and defend test findings.
Ability to perform basic statistical analysis and make recommendations to engineers.
Must be able to lift up to 38lbs on a routine basis.
Education and/or Experience:
Completed Associates Degree or equivalent technical certification required.
Minimum 2-4 years of recent and relevant ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL experience required.
Troubleshooting experience required.
Medical device experience or other regulated industry preferred.
