A different kind of talent company.

You need more than just a recruitment company. You need a partner dedicated to unleashing your potential and finding you that next great job opportunity—all while focusing on guiding and accelerating your career.

That’s not a problem. It’s what we do.

Experis, a ManpowerGroup company, specializes in placing top talent in IT, Finance, Engineering, and other industries. We achieve this through our deep industry knowledge and an unmatched understanding of human potential.

We also happen to be almost everywhere. Experis offices are located all across the United States and far beyond its borders, with a global footprint that spans over 80 countries. So, whether you’re a healthcare worker in Honolulu wanting to explore opportunities in Hong Kong, or an IT specialist in Iowa looking to capitalize upon your years of expertise, Experis has you—and your career—covered.

Partnering with the best to help place the best.

They say you are judged by the company you keep. When you look at our partner list, we think it speaks highly of our knowledge, expertise and reliability. These partnerships enable us to assist more than 1000 clients each year in finding the best talent for their respective needs.

Elevating potential is humanly possible.

Along with our parent company, ManpowerGroup, the nature of what we do – connecting people to jobs, training and tools that enable them to support themselves, build a sense of pride and contribute to the community – puts social responsibility at our core. Our commitment to producing a positive impact on individuals and societies is also an extension of our corporate values:

  • Respect for individuals and communities and the important role work plays in people's lives
  • Sharing our knowledge and expertise to develop sustainable workforce practices
  • Seeking innovative ways to develop socially inclusive work environments for the long term

Experis’ social responsibility principles and practices advance our focus on the world of work: We serve as a bridge to employment for all – linking the disadvantaged and disenfranchised to opportunities that help them survive and thrive. But it goes even further. We also strive to operate at the highest level of integrity and to be an effective and imaginative agent of change – in the smallest communities and around the world.

Workforce Diversity

Building a better workforce one person at a time.

Long before corporate diversity directors, diversity departments, diversity goals, Minority and Women Business Enterprises and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Experis was finding the best in everyone and putting it to work. Since our start, our business has been guided by the belief that there's a role for every individual in the world of work.

Beginning in 1948, our parent company ManpowerGroup was a pioneer in creating opportunities for women, when it was not yet socially accepted for women to work outside of the home and develop careers. We also played an important role in providing jobs for people of color in the 1960s, the most pivotal era for racial diversity in the United States workforce.

The nature of our business has given us a privileged position to promote diversity. We take great pride in furthering the potential of individuals of diverse cultures, talents and experience. We always consider what people can do, versus what they can't do. And we make every effort to provide opportunities for anyone who is seeking the rewards and dignity of work.

ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment. It is the policy of ManpowerGroup and all of its subsidiaries to recruit, train, promote, transfer, pay and take all employment actions without regard to an employee's race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, religion, age, disability, protected veteran status, or any other basis protected by applicable law.

Employment Blawg

The impossible has happened. A lawyer is doing something for free. Check out Manpower's Employment Blawg: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Employment Law (But Didn't Want to Pay a Lawyer to Ask). Chief Legal Officer for Manpower North America, Mark Toth, selflessly donated billable hours to create his Employment Blawg just to help professionals like you stay out of trouble and gainfully employed.

In his uniquely entertaining style, Mark delivers up-to-the minute information on employment law, plenty of practical tools and lots of laughs at the expense of his profession. (And yours. And Elvis.) Arm yourself with insights to prevent mistakes without being bombarded by legalese, legal fees and without falling asleep.

All these miracles happen at manpowergroupblogs.us/employment_blawg.

Philanthropy

We believe in human potential.

Since 1953, The Manpower Foundation has been dedicated to supporting job training and education initiatives for our nation's underemployed and youth. Through monetary contributions, volunteerism and other donations, the Foundation supports programs and organizations that focus on two key areas: creating paths to employment and promoting youth education and development.

By offering training in growing fields for those often overlooked in the workforce, the Foundation helps individuals experience the financial and personal rewards of sustainable work, while strengthening communities and developing a stronger, more diverse work-ready population for employers. And by providing resources for youth education, the Foundation prepares tomorrow's workforce to conquer the challenges of the changing world of work.

Along with these initiatives, the Manpower Foundation also supports healthcare and social services through an annual donation to the United Way, and the arts through an annual donation to the United Performing Arts Fund.

Environmental

Fully supporting bright green advancements.

As a service organization, our environmental impact might be small compared to that of manufacturing industries. But that doesn't mean we overlook the many ways we can go green. Whenever possible, we incorporate eco-friendly initiatives into our business practices.

We continue to explore opportunities to minimize our impact on the environment by encouraging colleagues to embrace technology, such as e-mail, teleconferencing, net meetings, webinars and video conferencing to reduce unnecessary travel. In our offices nationwide, we implement programs that reduce the use of energy and resources such as paper, and promote recycling.

In 2007, Experis and our parent company, ManpowerGroup, moved into our newly constructed world headquarters, a state-of-the-art green building in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This energy-efficient building represents a triumph of environmental vision and execution, and was recently recognized with Gold Status under the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification system – the first new building in Milwaukee to earn that distinction. The LEED Green Building Rating System, administered by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), serves as the benchmark in green building design, construction, operation and maintenance.

Our world headquarters now establishes a benchmark for all future Experis and Manpower office developments around the world - furthering our commitment to environmental stewardship.

A boost to the community—and broader value for business.

In our ongoing commitment to bringing the best and brightest to our clients, Experis aligns with ManpowerGroup’s Supplier Diversity Initiative. The Supplier Diversity Initiative was designed to provide innovative approaches to recruiting, developing and increasing our diverse supplier base. Our program includes women, minorities, veterans, disadvantaged, and small business owners who share our mission of providing quality services to their customers. We collaborate with diversity suppliers who share our vision of being the best provider of higher value staffing services and the center for quality employment opportunities.

Experis and ManpowerGroup are committed to developing relationships with diversity suppliers to collaborate on the innovative workforce solutions we offer our customers worldwide. Through these collaborative efforts, we can help strengthen the economic wealth of our diverse business communities, which will, in turn, contribute to the overall growth and expansion of our markets. We have provided a database of both approved and sourced diversity suppliers as a tool for you to access suppliers in your state.

The basic components of ManpowerGroup's Supplier Diversity Initiatives are:

  • Outreach - actively seeking diverse suppliers through minority and business development organizations and participation in various trade show activities.
  • Certification - verification of minority or women-owned status through screening processes; Qualification - review and input of selected business criteria and referral to field offices, corporate account representatives, etc. for consideration.
  • Development - review of additional needs of suppliers and exploring ways to provide assistance to them.
    • Utilization - Manpower requires that all M/WBEs be properly certified by a National or Regional Council or government agency. Information on becoming a certified minority owned business can be obtained from any one of the NMSDC's - National Minority Supplier Development Council (39) Regional Councils at nmsdc.org. Information on becoming a certified woman owned business can be obtained from any one of the WBENC's - Women Business Enterprise National Council (14) Regional Councils at www.wbenc.org.
