Resource Capacity Mananger
The Resource Capacity Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining a rolling overview report on specific capacity per team up to 18 months out. S/he will provide resource managers and leaders with further insightful reports on current and planned capacity. As the position involves regular analysis of large amounts of resource capacity data, it must be analyzed and presented in clear, simple, informative ways. The Resource Capacity Manager will need to set up processes with our teams to ensure that Capacity data in selected tools is continuously of high quality as it will be the foundational element in performing a specific sustainable capacity function.
In addition to the Capacity analysis, the manager is responsible to create specific Dashboard reports to support specific leadership in its steering capabilities.
Job Specific Responsibilities:
Understand short-, mid- and long-term resource strategies of our teams. Work with resource managers and teams to capture and maintain high quality resource data in IT tools standardized processes.
Analyze capacity data, create and maintain a rolling overview of our clients resource capacity in various views. Work with peer managers to understand and highlight areas of concerns. Support peer managers with capacity data insights in order to create Release models, Bottleneck analysis and 'what if' scenarios of project delivery.
--5+ years working in Resource planning function, preferably IT.
--MS Office (PowerPoint & Excel) is required
--Experience with Clarity or other PPM tools is required
--Must have at least 3-5 years of experience managing people and resource capacity management.
--Looking for a strong self-starter who can direct a cross-functional team with specific tasks.
--Must be able to drive the team, coordinate and consolidate.
--Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze large amounts of data and present in clear, simple, informative ways that support stakeholders.
--Ability to balance daily work tasks with long-term, strategic responsibilities.
--Professional presence when working with senior leadership.
--Strong organizational and communication skills.
--Experience performing resource capacity analysis in a high tech organization preferred
--Bachelors Degree or combination of equivalent experience and education
